THE KIT.

A decade-long experiment in building a modern fashion system.

Design, product, content, team, and culture - built under real constraints. Longer than most startups. Shorter than it felt.

THE KIT was a direct-to-consumer fashion brand built and operated over ten years - spanning concept, design, production, content, hiring, pricing, marketing, and growth. What began as a creative project evolved into a complex, made-to-order system balancing taste, sustainability, logistics, and scale.

Over a few short years, THE KIT evolved into a disciplined system - one that connected with more than 100,000 people and generated over $13M in revenue while prioritizing craft, sustainability, and intentional growth.

THE KIT became my education in building something that had to survive real people, real budgets, and real time.

Over 10 years, I led:

  • Seasonal collections (35+ drops)
  • Creative direction across brand, content, and campaigns
  • Team building across design, production, marketing, and ops
  • Made-to-order and small-batch production systems
  • Pricing and margin strategy in a volatile market
  • Category expansion (women’s, men’s, home, collaborations)
  • Community-driven brand storytelling

Running THE KIT taught me that good taste is useless without systems - and systems fail without judgment. Every collection required tradeoffs between aesthetics, bodies, cost, timing, sustainability, and team capacity.

The work wasn’t just designing clothes. It was designing how decisions get made, and how those decisions hold up over time.

A decade of work. A lifetime of learning.

THE KIT wasn’t built to be perfect. It was built to be real. Over ten years, it became a living system - one that demanded clarity, restraint, and adaptability.

That experience now informs how I advise, design, and lead across disciplines.
